Final Acceptance of the LMG Investment has begun.
Today at 9 am, a Final Acceptance of the LMG Project has begun under the name: “The LMG Project – Central Facility, the area of wells, pipelines and other”. Economically, it has been one of the most important investments in Poland in recent years. The name of the project is the abbreviation for Lubiatów –Miedzychód -Grotów, three villages situated not far from the construction site and in the heart of Puszcza Notecka (primeval forest). The project’s value is nearly 1,5 billion PLN.
The works have began in 2008, and PBG as the General Contractor of the Investment was obliged to complete it in 56 months.
In this most modern oil mine in Poland, except for oil, other products will be produced too, such as LPG, natural gas, condensation and sulphur in a liquid form, and other by- products as well. This facility is fully automated and practically independent of external factors.
It should be emphasized that most devices in technological systems of the facility are fueled with its own natural gas and use its own electricity and heat.
Technical acceptance took place in December 2012 and obtained a positive result whereas a start- up test took place in February 2013 and also turned out to be a success. It involved a continuous and faultless work of all machines and equipment with full capacity for 72 hours. On the 13th of March, a guarantee test was completed with a positive result confirming the guaranteed parameters of the installation and mine products.
The Final Acceptance, which has begun this morning, might last for couple of days. Since it has already been in progress, it should end up earlier than the planned works completion deadline indicated in the contract, i.e. April 10, 2013.
